We are very happy to announce that “Two Soft Things, Two Hard Things” won the “Best Two-Spirited Film – Audience Choice” Award at the 1st ever Queer North Film Festival. We’re thrilled we won but even happier to see a festival include such a category and hope that it will encourage more Indigenous-themed LGBTQ2 work.
Since our sold out World and International premieres, we’ve also been the focus of some amazing articles from CBC, Vice, Toronto Star, Fusion and been featured on CTV News and APTN. For an update on all articles and press clippings, you can go to our website’s press section.
We’ve also got plenty of screenings coming up including our Western Canadian Premiere as a spotlight film at the Vancouver Queer Film Festival (yay hometown!). We’ve also got a free outdoor screening in Dundonald Park as part of Centretown Movies/Canadian Centre for Gender And Sexual Diversity event for Ottawa Pride and 4 screenings in Mexico City for MicGénero! Plus we have Asian, African and UK Premieres coming up so make sure to check our website’s screening section for up to date information.
