Leo Award Nomination and Festival Awards

1 May

BestDocFilmBlackSince our amazing experience at BFI Flare in London where our documentary “Two Soft Things, Two Hard Things” was extremely well received, we managed to garner a couple new awards! The film won Best Documentary (Long) at the Cinhomo: Muestra Internacional Cine y Diversidad Sexual in Spain and the Audience Award for Best Native Cinema Film at the Durango Independent Film Festival in Colorado (which we graciously pass on to the subjects of the documentary).

bMore locally, we have just been nominated for Best Feature Length Documentary Program at the 2017 Leo Awards, British Columbia’s creative arts awards. We are in incredible company and look forward to celebrating documentary with everyone on June 3rd in Vancouver.

We have a few more screenings coming up in Calgary (where I’ll be in attendance), Juneau and Mumbai so make sure to check our website’s screening section for up to date information. We also have a screening at one of the world’s most prestigious venues planned for the fall and are working to getting the film shown in another pretty high place. All will be revealed this summer!
